If you're a local community group, use the Email Tree to reach people and tell them what you have and when you need volunteers.  Just send a message to

The Email Tree began because our community groups needed a simple way to share information and support each other.  Find out how the Email Tree started here

The Email Tree has a terms-of-reference to keep it manageable, define its purpose and explain roles for volunteers.  You can read the terms-of-reference here2

Back in 2012, members of community groups came together to support the Email Tree and enjoy a feed of mussels supplied by local volunteer and 'celebrity chef' Lindsay Noss.  Groups represented are Back L-R: Laila and Roy - Ballroom Dancing, Hazel - Bellarine Bayside, Lindsay and Richard - Portarlington Mussel Festival.  Front L-R: John - Portarlington Community Association, Pam - St Patrick's Catholic Church, Rodney - Portarlington Bayview Probus.

In August 2017, the Email Tree had a special acknowledgement for long-term supporters in the Bellarine Times.  If it's too small to read, there's a copy here

This is what the thank you mug looks like.  The mug can be used every day and is a constant reminder to recipients that you are valued.
